The Secret Life of Pets opened on July 8 to sold out crowds at Studio Movie Grill locations. In support of our Executive Chef, Thad Kelley, who passionately runs a pet shelter and adoption agency, and 17 others like him, SMG sprung into action to give these groups a voice during one of the most anticipated, and pet-friendly, movies of the year.

Amy Phillips, SMG's local marketing manager, invited animal shelters, pet adoption agencies, and companies focused on "pet life" services or products to participate. Pets needing homes and loving families united with each other at 14 SMG locations across the country. Over 50 pets were adopted during the campaign and every agency received valuable exposure for their cause from the hundreds of guests visiting SMG theaters.
